I'm a journalist dedicated to learning more about where media, tech and business meet, specifically in a newsroom. I spent four years at Indiana University, with the last year spent running the award-winning student newspaper, the Indiana Daily Student. About a month after graduating with my bachelor's in Journalism, I moved to Syracuse, New York and studied under the esteemed Newhouse School to learn about product strategy, audience development and sustainable business within newsrooms, all during a constantly evolving media landscape.
This past spring I graduated with my master's after a rewarding year at Syracuse. Currently I'm researching the independent local journalism ecosystem at Syracuse's Institute for Democracy, Journalism & Citizenship, and doing investigative data work at Gray Media's InvestigateTV.
